Dairy NSW is calling for nominations to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of our region’s dairy industry.
There are up to two (2) director positions available on the Dairy NSW Board from from October this year.
We are seeking at least one (1) farmer director who has a broad and substantial Dairy Farmer contact base within NSW; and one (1) skill-based director.
We are seeking diverse thinking and skillsets that complement our current Board. While a broad range of skills are relevant in these roles, of particular interest are skills and experience in dairy processing, governance, market development and natural resource management.
This is a great opportunity for anyone working in the dairy industry to help support and promote a sustainable dairy industry that provides economic, social, and environmental benefits to all participants and wider community.
Dairy NSW Directors can expect to commit approximately 16 days per annum, comprising: six Board meetings, an Annual General Meeting, potential sub-committee meeting, and industry events, as appropriate.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their understanding and appreciation of the Australian and Dairy NSW region industry and its complexities across the value chain, which they can effectively apply to their Board duties and can demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of emerging issues and be able to apply them as they relate to the industry in the Dairy NSW region.

To be elected as a director, you will undergo a selection process overseen by a Board Selection Committee. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed mid-August.
