Change in price is the change since the last report. Prices are estimates based on delivery to dairy farms with allowance for freight, storage, and marketing costs, but exclusive of GST. Wheat prices are for the relevant stockfeed wheat available in a region (ASW, AGP, SFW1 or FED1) and F1 for barley.
Commentary
- Wheat: Up $10 ($305 to $315/tonne). Barley: Steady ($225 to $235/tonne). Maize: Down $5 ($405 to $415/tonne). Oats: Steady ($255 to $265/tonne).
- Over this past week, South Australia experienced mostly fine and dry weather.
- Wheat prices showed plenty of variation this week, ranging up to $10 per tonne. H1 and H2 wheat has seen the price premium increase slightly.
- Barley values have moved lower over the week with malt premiums remaining at minimal levels.
