Dairy Poll voting closes 31 March 2022

Dairy farmers have only one week to cast their vote in the 2022 Dairy Poll.

To ensure their ballots reach Link Market Services, which independently administers the voting process, by 31 March 2022, farmers who are yet to cast their vote are urged to do so as soon as possible online, by email or fax.

The poll, held at least every five years, determines the level of investment in the dairy industry.

The four voting options, determined by the independent Levy Poll Advisory Committee, include the recommended 20 per cent increase in the dairy service levy.

Additional investment will deliver tangible benefits to dairy farmers in important areas for the industry– tackling labour shortages, enhancing the regional service offering to farmers, addressing high priority issues around climate and bolstering policy support.

The outcome of the vote will be announced shortly after the poll closes.
