Pip Courtney to headline the 2022 Ladies Luncheon event!

The much-anticipated 2022 South West Dairy Ladies Luncheon will be held on 17 August at Deakin University, Warrnambool.

The event welcomes special guest Pip Courtney as keynote speaker, The daughter of well known print journalist and editor Michael Courtney, Pip grew up in Tasmania. At school, Pip tossed up between two careers - wool classing and journalism. With assorted aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins on the land, her interest in agriculture led her to study ag science, but when it came to choosing a career journalism won out, so she studied politics and English at University.

On graduating she joined ABC news in Hobart and in 1993 she combined her two interests when she joined Landline. With a number of prestigious awards in journalism under her belt, Pip was appointed host of Landline in 2012. She will be supported by a panel of entrepreneurial local farming ladies in a panel session leading into lunch, which will compliment the event theme of 'Telling Stories'.

A small selection of stalls will be set up on the day, giving ladies the opportunity to do a little bit of local shopping.

Our wonderful sponsors have once again provided much appreciated support for this significant event in the local dairy calendar. WestPac is the Ruby sponsor for 2022. Gardiner Dairy Foundation is a Platinum sponsors, while Alta Genetics Australia Pty Ltd and Allflex/MSD have also provided significant sponsorship support this year. As always, these great events are only possible with sponsorship, so we would like to thank all our sponsors, large and small, for helping bring this special event to life.

We are looking forward to seeing you there for a much-needed ladies' day out, so 'glam up' and come along for some fun.

Remember - no jeans or work boots. It's a day off the farm!
