Independent Performance Review
Dairy Australia actively seeks feedback from dairy farmers and industry stakeholders for continuous improvement. This includes an independent review of our performance completed in January 2021.
Approach
An independent review of Dairy Australia’s operations and governance was conducted by Anwen Lovett Consulting in association with Ancer Consulting Pty Ltd. The review period spanned from 2017 to 2020 and was completed in January 2021.
This review was informed by significant industry feedback, including over 100 interviews with dairy farmers, industry bodies, processors, research providers, Federal and State Governments, as well as Dairy Australia’s Board, leadership team and our eight regional teams. Farmers also shared their views via an online survey.
Findings
The overall findings of the independent review were very positive, highlighting Dairy Australia’s building of community trust through marketing initiatives, supporting farmers and industry during critical issues and events, capabilities of our regional teams and the strength of our research and development portfolio.
We are committed to addressing recommendations as part of our ongoing commitment to improve and delivery value to dairy farm businesses and industry.
