Provide First Aid in Remote and Isolated Sites Expression of Interest

NE Women in Dairy in conjunction with Alpine Valleys Dairy Inc. are looking to run 1-2 Rural and Remote First Aid Courses and will determine locations based on the number of people who register their expression of interest.

The Agricultural Industry is renowned for looking after family and workmates. In the event of a sudden illness or injury, the outcome of the patient is predominantly determined by the care they receive in the first hour. This is known as The Golden Hour. As we know, time to Medical Care for those of us who live and/or work in rural and remote regions is well outside this hour. So we owe it to our family and workmates to be best prepared, just in case.

Course Details:

Provide First Aid in Remote and Isolated Sites - HLTAID013

The course typically runs over 2 days and has the option of a night scenario in the evening of Day 1.

The two days: (There may be a chance to do 3 shorter days)

• Day 1: - 7.30am - 5.30pm (Plus optional night scenario)
• Day 2: - 7.30am - 4.30pm

Aiming for Mid December

Cost: $375pp

Required Participants in each location:

• Minimum number of participants- 10
• Maximum number of participants - 20
