The Gippsland Dairy ILG provides support to the wider Gippsland dairy industry.
Its roles include communicating between key dairy stakeholders, regional intelligence gathering, the identification of issues, and the development and coordination of service delivery.
Developing a Gippsland Dairy Industry Strategy is important to showcase opportunities for investment in the region, inform regional planning, identify focus areas for cross industry partnerships, and detail actions needed to ensure a prosperous and responsive industry into the future.
All feedback collected on Gippsland priorities will also be available to the industry's peak body, Dairy Australia, to inform the development of the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan.
