Farm Managers scholarship applications

Applications are now open for the Dairy Australia Farm Managers scholarship at Marcus Oldham College in Victoria.

The scholarship, valued at $25,000, is designed for people with a genuine interest in the Australian dairy industry who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Business (Agriculture), or are intending to enrol at Marcus Oldham College.

It incorporates the Dairy Australia Farm Managers Learning Plan, which has been carefully designed to develop the farm management capability of students in a dairy specific context. The activities in the Learning Plan complement the agribusiness skills and knowledge developed through the Bachelor of Business Management (Agriculture and Agribusiness), to ensure students are equipped with the specific contextual understanding required for a career in the dairy industry.

These activities will include classroom and on-farm learning experiences throughout the duration of the student’s degree study, providing the opportunity for students to learn from technical specialists and farmers of the dairy industry.

Now in their fourth year, these scholarships are supported by Dairy Australia as part of our commitment to attracting and developing great people for dairy.

You need to be an Australian citizen to be eligible. People seeking to build a career in dairy farm business management are encouraged to apply.

Applications are now open for the program and close on Friday 21 July.

Visit the Marcus Oldham website for more information and to apply.
