Disposing of manures and effluent to land decision tool

You must establish a 'lawful place' in order to dispose of manures and effluent. Your obligations regarding how to do this will depend on the volumes involved and the use to which the material will be put.

This decision tool is specifically designed to help Victorian farmers navigate the new environmental regulations in Victoria, which came into effect on 1 July 2021.
