Extreme Weather

From fires to floods, dairy farmers need to be prepared for extreme weather conditions.

We're working with a range of partners and emergency services to coordinate support during extreme weather.

There is a range of resources to help farmers prepare for and recover from these events:

Use checklists to manage general contingency and emergency planning for your farm business. Recognising hazards, risks and areas of vulnerability on your property then taking steps to prevent them will create a safer farm environment.

You can also register to receive alerts sent directly to your phone via the Heat Alert Service.
