NSW Women in Dairy a winner at state awards

NSW Women in Dairy was recently recognised at the 2022 Mental Health Matters Awards in Sydney.

The group received the ‘Wayahead Workplaces Wellbeing Award’ for Cow Are You Going? at the awards, which were held on 28 October.

Together, the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program and NSW Women in Dairy Partnership has implemented a range of initiatives that promote a positive workplace and increased mental health outcomes – providing state-wide mental health support to women in dairy and the dairy industry.

The Mental Health Matters Awards recognises and celebrates the achievements of individuals and organisations who have worked to improve understanding, awareness, service provision and the mental health of communities in New South Wales over the previous year.

NSW Women in Dairy members who attended the awards came away with some exciting new ideas and a great appreciation of the work it has achieved through their partnership with the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program.

NSW Women in Dairy has been proud to partner with RAMHP for many years now, at both local and state level.

The partnership has brought together events such as the Long Lunches, Bale Up and Moo and You.
