Farm Health Wealth and Safety Workshops Strengthening Your Farm and Community

This October, NSW dairy farmers have the chance to gain invaluable insights and support through the Farm Health, Wealth, and Safety Workshops, a collaborative initiative by the Rural Recovery Support Service (NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development), RAMHP (Rural Adversity Mental Health Program), and SafeWork NSW.

Farm Safety Workshops

These workshops are designed to empower farmers, their families, and communities with tools to enhance their mental well-being, improve farm business planning, and promote safety on the farm. Whether you’re looking to bolster your mental health resilience, streamline your farm management, or access safety rebates for on-farm improvements, these sessions are tailored for you.

What You’ll Learn:

Support and Mental Health Management with RAMH

Discover how to support someone in need and manage your own mental well-being. The challenges of farming life can take a toll on mental health, but RAMHP’s practical advice will equip you with coping strategies and support mechanisms

Business Planning with the Rural Recovery Support Service and Farm Business Resilience Program

Get access to planning tools and programs specifically designed to strengthen your family and farm business. Learn how you can navigate challenges more effectively and develop resilience within your operations

Farm Safety with SafeWork NSW

Attending the workshop could make you eligible for a $1,000 SafeWork small business rebate to be used for safety improvements on your farm. SafeWork NSW will walk you through the requirements and give you practical advice on improving farm safety.

Upcoming Workshops:

  • Cobargo – 22 October, 9am – 12:30pm

  • Kempsey – 29 October, 9am – 12:30pm
