Applications open for inter-state study tour
Planning is underway for an inter-state study tour to take place from 27-31 March in Victoria. This is a tour for New South Wales and Tasmanian dairy industry members, and the theme is innovation, resilience and progression.
The tour – hosted by the respective states’ Young Dairy Network – is an opportunity for participants to visit farmers who have progressed in the industry from farmhand to sharefarmer, as well as those who are investing in on-farm innovation.
Applications are now open to NSW and Tasmanian dairy industry members aged from 18 to 40 years old.
Successful applicants must be prepared to have an ongoing relationship with Dairy NSW and DairyTas and be prepared to share their learnings as well as promote YDN in their region as reasonably requested.
