As the on-farm workforce continues to become increasingly diverse, it is crucial for farm businesses to provide culturally appropriate workplaces, if they wish to attract and retain a capable and sustainable workforce.
This free workshop series, delivered by the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, allows participants to understand their personal leadership style and apply this to the cultural diversity found on Australian farms. This workshop is suited for individuals working in farm businesses and industry who manage people or lead teams.
During the session, participants will be guided through leadership theory completing a leadership style assessment on themselves. Furthermore, it will examine the different cultures found on Australian farms and how best to adjust operational human resource processes for different cultures.
It delivers content from the Institutes Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness.
